My Creative space!

I love making notice boards for people & I try to make them a little bit different this is one of my pieces I created for a little girls bedroom the 3 boards all sit well together I think, & the ribbons all line up with each board.

I embellished these ones with a few fabric flowers I put together.

Get noticed

Missed my creative space yesterday as getting the house organised for my mum & dad who are spending Christmas with us YAY!!!  All fetched from the airport so Christmas has begun at my house :))

So here we go a bit late but thought I would share with you  a notice board I created for a friend.  At the top part all the paper work & notes can be added, then at the bottom I made a chalk board so shopping list or messages for the family can be written.

Finally a cute bag for the chalk to go in, it can be hung on the hooks that are holding the chalk board, I might have to make one for myself now.   

I wish I had brought more of that vintage looking fabric looking at it again I'm thinking of all the other things I could have made with it!!!

My Creative Space

I love making notice boards, I don't know why I ever stopped making them! I suppose it's just time flying by!!  Well I think I might start making them again and wanted to share with you what I did for my friends daughter.

Her dad brought her a dress from Hong Kong which didn't fit any more & she just didn't want to throw it out so I suggested making some things out of it we managed to get 2 boards & ran them on the wall length ways.  I loved the top part & wanted to keep that in the board as such a shame to cut it out.

I was so pleased with how they turned out I so love this colour & matched up the ribbon with the piping beautifully.
