Busy times!!

Gosh I cannot beleive how the month of November just raced by it was busy times thats for sure I have had basketball, swimming galas, dancing concerts, & graduations to attend & help with (phew) all good fun though.

All my Birthday goodies love the flowers looking forward to going to Myer the shoes are from Witchery sooo comfy, & the dress (not worn with those shoes though) was so cool especially in this heat!!  75% humidity at the moment.  I am so pleased my hydrangeas are not frazzled in this heat. :))

This is the other thing I have been most busy with helping to set up L'Amour Home a new shop with the most gorgeous of furniture & gifts Mackay needed some think different & it has arrived YAY!!!

This is the window display the pink chair & foot stool is just sooo gorgeous I love the hot pink colour, there are so many other yummy products its a pleasure going to work and helping to put all these lovely displays together.

It's Friday

It's Friday yay!!!  I have been working all this week getting the shop all ready for Christmas with some gorgeous items that have arrived, all my wages are going on decorations at the moment hee hee.

Thought I would show you some gorgeous flowers I got from a friend a while ago I loved them & was meaning to show you, they smelt so Divine took me ages to get a good pick as it was evening I must keep practising.

Will so be looking forward to Sunday so I can just chilax how about you what will you all be getting up to?  What ever it may be I hope its full of good times :)))

Royal Albert

I had a surprise sent to me recently from my mum so I thought I would share it with you, I was so excited un packing my goodies.  My mum has kindly given me her Royal Albert Old Country Roses Tea set which she has collected for many years, this design has sold one hundred million pieces since it was launched in 1962 so loads kicking around out there.   The recipe book is so lovely I don't want to write in it for fear of spoiling the gorgeous pages!! 

 It is believed that Anna, Duchess of Bedford began the ritual  of afternoon tea, women would dress up & have there finest china & silverware presented to show there success & Stature.  I just like to have my friends round for a good gossip & catch up but I am sure that still hasn't changed in some house holds.

It has its own home now in my dresser & I will be using it to have my tea in that's for sure, how could you not?  So mum when you next come to stay we shall have a nice cup of Tea  a yummy cake & a good old catch up!! Can't wait :)

Coffee Devine

Well hello there long time hey!!! Well I had a great time with the in- laws out showing them around the Whitsunday's & Pioneer Valley were I live.  

On the way to Finch Hatton & Eungella we came across this cute little coffee place which opened a year ago. Gosh I must get out that way more often it is so beautiful.

The little detail in the wood work on the deck was so pretty.

I loved the arch door way it was a little country church at one time.

Love the bell to ring for service they do great coffee by the way.

And what a view to sit & eat your own cupcake it's all home made food, great service & they also have a face book page so you can find out how to get there or what events are going on, so if you ever head to this part of the world please pop in to Coffee Devine it will be so worth it!!

Family

So sorry I have not been able to catch up with all your lovely blogs lately, due to having family stay with us for a while I haven't had chance to get on my computer.

Once I get a chance I will definitely do some posts & swing by to say hi to you all.

I had this bottle of perfume given to me as a gift, I love Marc Jacob's bottles they are so exquisite & have a flower as its lid, it's quite a sweet floral smelling perfume when sprayed  but as it goes into skin it softens & is quite nice.

My Creative Space

The other day my daughter produced this picture to me & asked if I could make this out fit for a project that they are working on at school for a boat regatta, apparently they have all built boats out of card board boxes & are doing a race with them on land so the kid's are all in the boats but running with them.

My daughter & her friend are playing the roll of cheerleaders  so on Sunday I found out I had to make 2 costumes (phew) so off I ran to Spotlight to get all my supplies I needed as I was working Mon & Tue I could only make them in the evening so after 2 nights I finished.  HOORAY.

I should say we finished as my mother in law came to stay with us on Saturday for 5 weeks so she was a great help pinning, ironing & helping with other things, I said "you timed your visit just at the right time" hee.

The skirt is my favourite it turned out really well, go go girls have fun, they have sorted out a routine shame we cannot be there to see it, I didn't do the binding stripes on the top as I ran out of time, more notice next time please Soph!!  hee.

My Creative Space

Thought I would have a go at covering my bedroom lamp shades today to give them a bit of a lift as they looked so plain.

Fabric all cut spray ready be careful with that spray I thought my room was well ventilated but ended up having to go out side, then I didn't check the wind direction first hee.

 I was thinking what have I started?  If I work with the spray glue again I think a mask will be purchased. I entertained myself making them, thank god I didn't video it you would have had a laugh.

I am so pleased how they turned out the glue does hold well on the fabric as one of the shades I realised I had put the fabric on upside down as you can see by the run of the pattern that would have been wrong told ya I was having fun & games hee.
